What is The Pursuit?

The Pursuit is a 2.5-day conference for Christian ministry leaders organized by the Canadian Council of Christian Charities. It's a fantastic opportunity to grow as a leader, sharpen your skills, and connect with Christian ministry leaders from across Canada.

What's the Theme for 2017?

This year The Pursuit's theme is Leading in Community. The conference keynote speakers will be discussing how we, as a community of believers, can re-vision the mission of the church today. Keynote speakers for 2017 include Gordon T. Smith (President, Ambrose University), Gary Nelson (President, Tyndale University College and Seminary), and Lee Beach (Associate Professor, McMaster Divinity School). Daily devotionals will be led by Wendy Lowe, Lead Pastor of NEXT Christian Community.

What Will I Learn?

The Pursuit offers breakout sessions that cover a variety of topics relevant to Christian ministry, such as governance, finance, fundraising, church management, communication, human resources, strategy, and technology. No matter the size of your ministry or the level of your experience, you will find encouragement and inspiration from The Pursuit's learning sessions.
